About

My name is Jeff Sargeant, professional broadcaster and veteran suitcase packer.

Since graduating from BCIT’s Broadcast Journalism program in 2008, I have worked in TV and radio news and sports as well as in a variety of capacities for multiple junior hockey teams. My stops have included, but not limited to: Castlegar, Terrace, Prince George, Langley, and Duncan, British Columbia; Edmonton, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I have conducted thousands of interviews speaking to everyone from high level criminals to high level politicians (not to be confused, although I’ll leave that judgment up to you).

I have called over 200 hockey games, mostly in the BCHL and CIS. I have also broadcast university level football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball.

I was most recently employed by the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL through the 2014/15-2015/16 seasons before my position was eliminated. I am currently seeking my next exciting opportunity!
